Caterham Cars has unveiled a new strategic alliance with Würth UK, a prominent provider of assembly equipment, fastening systems, and workshop technologies across the United Kingdom. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in Caterham’s ongoing efforts to elevate efficiency, accuracy, and production quality at its manufacturing facility in Dartford.
The agreement was officially sealed during the renowned ADAC 24-Hour Race at the Nürburgring, one of the most celebrated fixtures on the global motorsport calendar. To commemorate the partnership, Würth UK staged a dedicated brand activation inside the Caterham Nürburgring showroom. Adding to the occasion, Würth UK Managing Director Omar Edris took part in the pre-race parade on the legendary Nordschleife circuit behind the wheel of Caterham’s recently introduced Seven 340 Nürburgring Edition.
By incorporating Würth’s premium-grade products, advanced workshop infrastructure, and inventory management systems, Caterham’s experienced assembly specialists will gain access to greater operational efficiency and heightened precision throughout every stage of vehicle production. The partnership further underscores Caterham’s dedication to maintaining exceptional levels of craftsmanship, quality, and performance in every Seven that leaves the factory.
Caterham’s production operations will now benefit from Würth’s extensive range of market-leading solutions, including:
- Tools and power tools
- Fasteners and fixings
- Workshop consumables
- Chemicals and lubricants
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety products
- ORSY workshop organisation and vending solutions
The collaboration extends well beyond Caterham’s headquarters and manufacturing base. Throughout the racing season, Würth will maintain a visible presence within the Caterham Motorsport UK paddock. Its products and workshop systems will support the championship’s technical garages at every event, helping teams maintain the highest standards of preparation, servicing, and performance support for Caterham race cars both on and away from the circuit.
Trevor Steel, Senior Vice President of Operations at Caterham Cars, said:
“Joining forces with Würth UK marks another important chapter in the evolution of our manufacturing operations.
